Hello Guys,
I recently got approved tourist visa and my PR application is under process with all bullet points updated on CIC website including medicals received. I filed my application on feb 25 for pr and CIC already acknowledged police clearance and landing fees. I am wondering if should wait for some more time if there is a possibility of getting passport request in near future or should i book ticket and go to Canada. But in that scenario, i believe file will be transferred to OTTAWA?
What's your viewpoint?

You can travel on TRV while your PR application is in progress. Your file will not be transferred to Ottawa, it’ll still be processed in New Delhi. When you get PPR you can send your passport to Ottawa for stamping and do the landing through flagpoling or at a CIC office.
You may consider that if you enter Canada on TRV, you may not be allowed to bring a lot of your stuff. You'll have to declare your stuff while landing as PR within Canada and then carry it in your next trip. Whereas if you enter Canada as landing for PR, you can carry as much as you want. If you can manage your stuff part, go ahead and come to Canada on TRV.
It seems like you have not updated the spreadsheet... if there is anyone else who would like to take responsibility of the spreadsheet please let me know.
Hello,
I updated details on spreadsheet ..
1. latest is - RPRF receipt and upfront e-Medical Report emailed to NDVO on 6th May'16;
2. They requested for PCC in AOR2 on 2nd May'16, but that was originally sent along with Application to CIC/CPC-M by Sponsor husband... do I have to again send one to NDVO also!?
3. Received standard reply from NDVO on 6th May'16 - they will respond within 30days..
4. eCAS shows 'in progress' for both- SA and PA..
Enlighten me please.. in Hope as always...!
Thankx to all for great Forum...!
Hey Guys!
Someone posted on the first thread of this section that his friend's wife submitted application on 2nd April 2016 and got PPR on 15th May from NDVO.
