I filed both PR and tourist visa at same time in last week of February. But in my case i submitted tourist visa through paper application and they asked for medicals. Now its nearing 3 months and no progress on tourist visa but on the front of PR, CIC has updated all 3 points (Application received date, processing start date and medicals received) So passport is stuck and not sure if i should expect PR by this month as by timeline i filed PR on Feb 24 and processing started in delhi on APRIL 08.
Any comments??

you will get PR visa directly. I am in similar situation. Just wait for Passport to come back with PR visa

Is your passport also with NDVO? And when did you apply for both PR and visitor visa? Any call from embassy or request for medical from tourist visa section?

Applied for my wife in aug 15 , transferred case to new delhi in oct nd first week of May i noticed they changed her permanent application status to DM . but no PPR yet . is this Normal ? no mail or email yet . any suggestions? thanks everyone .

Congrats bud. Yes, that's very normal. You should be getting the ppr any day now.

Thanks Vikram!!!! There are a few important work and family matters my husband have to deal with before heading to delhi - will wait till end of May to submit passport. This is fine right, given that the email says we have 30 days from the receipt of this email?

As long as your husband's passport reaches NDVO within 30 days, it's fine. Don't delay submitting the passport to VFS office for more than 20 days from the PPR email.

I have restricted to just view only, please let me know those who wants to do volunteering and has knowledge regarding google spreadsheet.
