I received my GCMS notes today. I am September 23 applicant. The VO made note in April that interview is recommended. Due date is mentioned as 25th October 2017. Medical expiry is July 11. Is there any way I can request them to arrange the interview soon? I have asked the very question in IRCC web form for New Delhi today. My MP says that they cannot help if processing time has not exceeded 17 months.

There is no any procedure, which will make interview faster.

when you get interview means officer has some big concern - red flag. I think you should find it in your GCMS note. I think you should focus on that concern and prepare documentation/proof to satisfy an officer.

I am not trying to scare you but interview is not good thing...

no interview after DM......You should get Passport request within a 7-8 working days...

You have to wait for interview. But you can also do send some more proofs of ur on going relationship with photos of recent trips, call logs , text messages , Skype , whats app or face time which ever ur are using do send a strong cover letter with all these things. In past few couples did this and interview waived for them and saves your precious time .Do consult a Good lawyer I am suggesting on my opinion.
