Can any body tell me if the VFS will be open on May 1st.

Didn't you submit your medical upfront or did it get expire?

I am 25 Oct 2016 applicant and my medical is expired but I have not gotten any medical request from NDVO.

Isn't the medical test result valid for 9 months? If you've applied in October and submitted medical results upfront, then I guess it's valid for two-three more months.

Its totally fine...only thing is they send your pr card to their address
If you dont want pr card to be send to your representative, then you can simply change your address at the POE...so the cbsa officer will update your new address and you will get your pr card to that address in 4- 5 weeks (standard processing time as of now)
Like yours friends or relatives address
But if you dont have an address, then just stick with your representative address...and collect it from them..
But some representatives even charge money for that too..i heard some stories before..
Either way is fine...

Medical test results are valid for 12 months but I had my medical done for another application in March and used the same for this one. Regret it now :'(

Has somebody any idea how much re-medical will delay the process?

I was requested to send passport as part of PPR, I am already in Canada so I sent it to CIC ottowa office. I had 2 passports with me, 1 was canceled (because of name change after marriage) and the other is valid/current passport.

I send only the valid/current passport to CIC office and NOT the canceled one. should I have sent both passports ??
have I done a huge mistake ???
