Ecas changed to "Decision made" from "in process" today.

As i said earlier, i sent my full application to New delhi visa officer on 12/08/2009 to New Delhi visa office. The courier company online tracking system says that they delivered it on 14/08/2009 to the destination.

I understand that the ECAS system is updated on every tuesday. But my ECAS system does not yet say that it is received by the visa office. Normally once the visa office receives the application, how many days it will take to acknowledge it on ECAS system?

Please advise me by those who have already gone through the procedure with New Delhi visa office. Thank you very much in advance.

They do not change it that often. It will probably show "in process" till decision is made. They will definitely not notify you or update Ecas upon receiving your full application.

Keep a photocopy of the draft before sending it. They will send a receipt, do not lose it.
