Hello Forum!
I've been a silent observer of this forum for almost 3 months however reading each DM or Address Change has given us hope towards our own application. I just wanted to return the same by saying that our status changed from "Application Received" to "Decision Made" today .

Just want to wish everyone all the best and hope everyone can have their loved one's by their side as soon as possible!

P.S - A special note of appreciation to everyone who have worked towards managing that spreadsheet! Superb Work!!

Hi All,

Does anyone know how can we contact CIC call centre agents from within canada. The numbers given on the CIC website is taking the call to the automated call service .
Does anyone know on what number we should call to talk with the agents directly?

Have submitted the app on 9th july , and till now no confirmation on what is cic doing with that. So we need to call them now as the cic website says working on 12th july app.

Anyone with similar situation . please respond ....

How many from March & Feb are still waiting for a DM made (after sending the PP).
My status is 'In Process' since Sep 3rd, it also shows my India Address, but other than that no update

I am still waiting I am March 21st applicant, my hubby got a letter to send more pictures on the 3rd of September..ecas still says application received ....still waiting patiently....

I have a general question, do we have to evaluate our educational certificates before leaving from India in order to apply for job in canada..

Do Canadian employers asks for our credentials evaluated while applying for jobs?

It depends on what on jobs you are looking for

there are two type of jobs (Certified professionals like Doc,Nurse,dentist pharmacist or jobs which require specials skill etc ..., & Non-certified professionals like IT,daily wages jobs etc)

So normally for certified jobs u need to get certified by canadian authorities. For Non-certified its depends on your employer.
I have 10 interview nobody ever ask me for my certificates. I am programmer..
