Hey can anyone tell me is there any validity for PR Visa ?

For PR you have to keep in mind 3 things which are as follwos.
1. After getting ur visa you have to reach canada before expiry of your medical i.e. One year from medical test. This also confirm by your visa stamp or copyr which state that your visa from thid date to this date.
2. After reaching in canada you have to stay there atleast 2 years in total out of 5 years, this is required to maintain ur PR status. In between u can leave canada for temporary basis as soon as u will fulfil ur 2 years requirement.
3. You need to stay at least 3 years in total out of 4 years in canada if you want to apply for citizenship of canada.

thnx @RGP...in letter they asked for permanenet residence fees if not paid,police clearance if not submitted etc.....but we already paid fees and sent PC so we just need to send passport rite?

I think u'll see DM in coming week for sure.

The issuing date was 28-Aug-12. And i am from gujarat, going to toronto.

If you have already submited that two docs then just mention that in covering letter. And dont forget to send copy of that PPR for reference. They are specificaly asking for it.

How long can it takes to bc to get done in India? I know that they give this to 3rd party agency.
No travel history. But she works for central government, we have submitted NOC (no objection certificate). It had been over 2 months in process. Medicals set to expire in exactly 32 days. My MP stating still doing background check?
