after sending re medicals?

Mp said start packing cuz they r issuing visa for my partner now... So happy... How long is this gonna take??

Hi Guys!! I am a May 2013 applicant. File is in process since 14th December, 2013 and remedicals got updated on April 3rd, 2014. MP says file is in background checks. But 2 months have already passed after remedicals. Can anyone tell me how long does these background checks take and is there any way we can enquire with CSIS about the status of background checks? Please help.

My cousin is already here and her status is still in process lol it so weird how they work...and my ecas is NOT decision made yet! Lol hope it's our omg turn soon

So I did an mp, inquiry... Its look like things are coming to an end , of this nightmare this

CIC advises me that the your husband’s eligibility was passed on May 19/14. The background checks are complete and the medicals are valid until June 2/15.

The application is now in queue for a review which should be completed by July 30/14.

We can check the file again the first week of August to see if CIC is close to finalizing the application.

Plz god let this be an ending for all of 2012

Do u have history of staying in Canada? Bcz in my case i lived there for 10 months so my fingerprints were taken to do background check at chc, ND & sent to csis. I emailed them to ask if they have made a report.

No I have never been to Canada....
