1) English test results (as per the criteria) is a MANDATORY doc unlike PCC or other additional docs. Your application will be rejected upfront if it does not have the scores required.
2) With the new changes setting in, NOA submission could still be exempted under specific conditions with explanation. For someone who has worked from Jan to Jan (12 months exp), it will practically be impossible to send NOA upfront along with the application.
Just like Andy put it - dont even bother sending in the app without the English test, as it will be rejected by default. For NOA you can always attach an explanation, but will need to follow up afterwards, since it is still grounds for rejection, if there are issues.
09 applicants in Jan 2013 till date > Bramble84, Yum, Saruyashi, Cjohn1407, jason214, Mahbub, Tortured, HY325 and myself. I have arranged the sequence in the tracker based on the application received date at CIC office. This will help in anticipating the AOR and other dates in the process.
May I request all of the Jan applicants to please update the 'comments' tab with any of the deviations that you have followed in filing the application. This will help you in the long run to introspect where you have gone wrong and in turn, will also help others to learn from our mistakes. If no deviations write 'NONE'.
Thanks to some of you who have updated the sheet. Other please do.
Now that CIC has given the option of paying fees upfront using Credit Card, please do note that we can track the status of our application also using the Receipt Number (IMM 5401). You will find this number on the online receipt which starts with a letter, followed by nine numbers. (Example: B000000000).
For some of you who are still thinking of paying using Bank Draft / Credit card auth solely with the purpose of tracking status of payment, can still achieve the same by paying online. This will definitely also fasten up the payment process with just a bar code scan (generated on the receipt) by CIC to record our payment. If someone is found not eligible, the fees will be returned to the Credit Card used to pay the fees.
Welcome 'Hope4MapleLeaf'. You are the only one in the list with Manila as the Visa office.
We have 03 applicants (jason214, Hope4MapleLeaf and myself) who have paid fees online. Just curious to see what difference will it make to the timelines of the processing.
On what basis we have to choose ottawa or manila visa office in pr application form's drop down list ? I heard if wr choose Buffali office, process will be fastet. Can we choose it or I must choose CPP Ottawa as my VO being in Toronto?
