My PNP was approved on Nov 2014, and applied for 2 year closed work permit but i got only 9 months because of my passport expiry. in my work work permit they clearly wrote that, Work permit issued to passport expiry.
i renewed my passport last month.
My current work permit will going to expire in Aug 20, 2015. can i apply for extension (remaining duration) right now with my new passport?
because still almost 3.5 month remaining to expire?

Hi I'm in the same situation, I got my closed permit approved only for 3 months due to my passport expiry date, I have applied for my passport renewal, what did you do to get the full length of your permit? Please advise. Thank you
