Hello Friends,
I am here for another help from you.
I applied for PR in Feb 2013 and currently waitng for PPR after medical was done on February 20, 2015. I need to be in my home country for 3 months from March 15th to June 15 and then I will be back to Canada. Now my worry what if I get Passport request while I am in my home country. Do I need to change my address with CIC before leaving Canada and then change the address back to Canada once I am back. Too confusing for me Really appreciate any suggestion from you. Thanks.

I am in a similar situation as you. I talked to my consultant and he has suggested moving the file to the destination country is possible but with an additional fees.
Let me know if you get any other information as I need help too!
I am in the same spot as you guys, in all my research, I have come to a conclusion that as soon as medicals received status is updated on the website, I should send email to the embassy(in my case Sydney) to change mailing address.
If you guys have better options/opinions please share.
I had my medicals 23rd of this month itself from New Delhi.

I believe you should wait till you get PPR email. At that point if you still out of Canada, you could either ask for change of visa stamping office to the country where u are at that time, if you intend to stay longer there.
OR you could submit passport in Canada upon return (if you intend to return after 1 month of PPR email, you would be able to ask for extension in the period granted for passport submission on basis that you are traveling).
