Asephil, have you heard anything since you got the sponsorship approval? We got ours about 3 weeks ago now and haven't heard anything since.. We're wondering how long it takes for the applications to get from Canada to Nairobi.
Sponsorship took 1 week and papers were sent to Nairobi. File sat there for 16 or 17 weeks before they requested emails/photos/phone records. Will send off before end of next week.

Hi Scott you didn't send email , photos and phone records in the first place? these are very crucial for your application to prove genuine relationship.
So it took one week to for yours to get from Canada to Nairobi? Then four months until they looked at it? Did it show up online when it got to Nairobi?
This is Nairobi's update of my file. After my MP requested information on the 27th of june 2013. From: re-nrobi

Hello members,
Am really glad reading all your posts here regarding PR processing in Nairobi. My husband is my sponsor and since May 2013 we have been waiting in an Interview date to be fixed. Can anyone have an idea of how long Nairobi takes to conduct interviews??
Please share with me your experiences regarding interview.
Thank you so much.
Wishing you good luck.
From what I've read it seems like it takes a long time, sometimes years... SamStar got his waived by providing more proof, maybe you could try that? Or just settle in and be patient...
We have just sent by courier all requested Documents; email history, phone records, sponsor passport photocopy of pages, wedding pictures.
So from first PRV application date March 1st to June 20 something waited for request. Requested items sent July 3rd and now I hope for PRV approval in 3 months.

Vancouver Mombasa,
Thanks for your advice, Indeed am very willing and ready to provide a more proof as possible to show Nairobi people how real our relationship/marriage is. However, how do i go over it to provide more documents like photos, emails, e.t.c
Do i write to them first? Or i just send through FEDEX or DHL?
And is the interview date was known, i would gladly do it.
Thanks once again.
Thanks for your response.
I will go ahead to write to Nairobi to inquire on how i can provide more documents to prove our marriage.
I hope they will reply soon.
Stay well.
Hello Rose13,
You don't have to ask them how to write them, you have their address on your sponsorship approval letter from Mississauga. Just send them all the documents you want and don't forget to write [clearly] your personal info on your cover-letter i.e. your file number and the like. if you don't have their address!

in my case I was away from home for work when I submitted my application and sent all the prove they want when I came back home and that was after Mississauga approved my file and sent it to Nairobi.
