My old passport will expire in July and I need to transfer the study permit and get a Canadian Visa to the new Passport. My student permit which has the old passport number on it. Is it possible to travel with the old passport to the USA and take care of the Visa from there? And if I stay how long is this process going to take. I applied for the student Visa on April the 25th and I still have not received an answer.
