untill 19th May，there were 5506 applications in eoi pool，good news is much less than we thought and I think around 1500 cases are fault or for testing or occupations not eligible.
Few queries regarding EOI SW-
1.i am applying with my spouse's parents as close relatives living in Winnipeg but in a later question regarding any close relative in any other province, do spouse's grandparents and aunts count as my close relative?
2.i have never applied under any other PNP but my spouse did apply for APNP. So what should i answer in that question?
Frank & Raj19, as for me Raj will only get -100 for item no. 2 above. He'll get no deduction for item no. 1 coz the statement under Factor 6, "Close relative in another province and no close relative in MB" isn't applicable to him.
For the 2nd Language, yes, she can claim + 25 point if she has taken a French language proficiency test with a score of CLB 5 or higher. Just be ready with her French test result.

Nick, their reply to your email came fast. But its sad to know that they require your MB Supporter to live outside Winnipeg. How about those that have other way of getting connections outside MB despite of their main supporter living in Winnipeg? Well it means to say, an applicant's declaration of his/her MB supporter shouldn't be that complicated. The MB supporter has to be living in the applicant's chosen destination.

Hello guys! I'm just a bit confused on how the draws are being made. They said only the highest ranking points are will be drawn for the LAA, doest it mean that only those who got let's say 600 and up will always be invited? So I'm assuming that those scores that are 500 and below doesn't have a chance to be part of the draw? I'm really confused.

Hello massive! I would like to think otherwise... that with in the promised 15-25 draws a year, it will be in a descending manner based on the rank of the applicants. However this will be dependent on the maximum no. of LAA that the MPNP will be sending out in any given year. I wish there are a little over 5,000 applicants per year so that all qualified applicants will be nominated by the MPNP! Lets all be positive here!
