I just hope all of us here will soon get their LAA. My score is a bit lower than your scores here but I am positive enough that MPNP will give everyone a fair share since all of us were accepted and qualified to apply. A matter of right time probably. Nick, I haven't received any reply yet. One of agent here said even friend lives outside of Winnipeg still hard to get that 50 points. Unless family members.

I need to Decline my application i got reply from MPNP,..Since my supporter lives in Winnipeg so i am not eligible to get for regional points even i am going to migrate out side of Winnipeg. really do't understand this ... see the answer below... how about you ?? your support are out side of the Winnipeg ?

For the 2nd Language, yes, she can claim + 25 point if she has taken a French language proficiency test with a score of CLB 5 or higher. Just be ready with her French test result.
IELTS Scores -- CLB per band -- Ranking Points per band
Listening: 6.0 -- 7 -- 22
Reading: 5.0 -- 6 -- 20
Writing: 6.5 -- 8 -- 25
Speaking: 7.0 -- 9+ -- 25
CLB = 6

Because everybody can get 50 points by just telling that you want to live outside Winnipeg. It will be useless, the Regional Development, if they allowed that kind of reasoning.
Few queries regarding EOI SW-
1.i am applying with my spouse's parents as close relatives living in Winnipeg but in a later question regarding any close relative in any other province, do spouse's grandparents and aunts count as my close relative?
2.i have never applied under any other PNP but my spouse did apply for APNP. So what should i answer in that question?
untill 19th May，there were 5506 applications in eoi pool，good news is much less than we thought and I think around 1500 cases are fault or for testing or occupations not eligible.

Frank, the +50 points is for all applicants regardless of the type of connection they may have to Manitoba as long as their destination is outside Winnipeg.
"In addition to Adaptability points, you may also score points for Regional Immigration for having a connection to, and planning to settle in, a region of Manitoba outside the city of Winnipeg."

Congrats all who received LAA ... I wish luck to all who wait for LAA ... I hv seen a post with d predicted points of nxt draw with 560 points ... My score is 565 ... Should I expect my LAA in the nxt draw ... Kindly advise ...
