MPNP EOI-SW (Expression of Interest - Skilled Workers) - 1st Batch 2015

Hi everyone, my brother sent his EOI last Dec 17,2015 there was a draw just today , the lowest score invited was 548 and my brother's score was 575.. However, he did not receive any email for his LAA.. His occupation is a Paralegal..

Has anyone applied and expecting to be part of the 1st draw in 2016?

Should we email MPNP and ask?

We would gladly appreciate any response or post your timeline, and experiences for MPNP overseas stream here

mmclaro If your brother occupation is not mentioned in required MPNP skilled worker list then even you score 800 points your brother won't receive any LAA...

My brother applied under Skilled worker overseas, not the other one.

mmclaro - EEP is Express Entry Pool (Federal skilled worker). In this IELTS requirement is 6 band each.

"Mpnp skilled worker list" Just put this in google.

If your score is higher than that of the lowest-ranked candidate, but you have not received an Letter of Advice to Apply, this could be because:

-You have indicated that you have taken an approved third-party language test to demonstrate your language ability in English/French, but have not provided a valid Test Number in your EOI or your language test is no longer valid
-You have indicated that you have received an Invitation to Apply to the MPNP under a Strategic Initiative, but did not provide a valid Invitation Number

Please note that for each question in EOI, help text is available, providing detailed information on the information you should enter. If one of these scenarios applies to you, you may wish to update your EOI with the correct information in order to be considered for the next draw from the EOI pool.

Can someone give me some advice whether it would hurt my MPNP application if I apply for EE? I have received my LAA and in the process of gathering my documents. However, I think it would increase my chances of immigration by applying multiple streams. But I'm not sure whether applying for EE would decrease my score in MPNP. If anyone has done this, please let me know. I appreciate your help. Thank you.

I believe mpnp have the records of your location and would want to think one year in Manitoba guarantees endorsement of your friend or family.
I think you must live outside Winnipeg but not sure if it must be one year.

Hey,congratulations on your LAA.I think if mpnp knows you will get a negative mark of 100 which makes you automatically ineligible, pls play safe.

what about distance relatives.... who have less 150 point from close relatives...why MPNP KEPT OPTION FOR DISTANCE RELATIVE/FRIEND WHEREAS THEY CAN'T RETAIN ANY SEPARATE OPTION OR REDUCES SCORE NEAR 400....IT VERY ODD and useless to LOOKING mpnp policy.

Being reading messages, informations and suggestions given by all the members of this group and I must commend each of you for your honesty and support to ensure a successful outcome of our immigration process. Well, I got my LOA on the 30th of Dec, 2015 and the email said, I must have a valid IELTS before submitting to CIC, since my IELTS had just expired. My Question is, what should be my expected test score for each band? Remember i've got my LOA already.... any idea please?
