hello there.

i hope i can be able to help regarding the steps ur doing with ur application? are you from the philippines?
i suggest that u apply online because its faster.
check all your documents. make sure it is complete and have them notarized. but if u intend to send the original copies, you dont need to have it notarized but please do not send original copies of ur land title, board certificate and others.
fill up the settlement plan 1 and let ur aunt endorse the settlement plan 2. by the way, if you will apply online. scan all your documents. and if you r going to upload them it will take 30 secs per document to upload so that is pretty taxing but u have to be patient.. just pray and be patient. hope to meet u in Canada and hope we can go there.. i just applied last july 2012 and im still wating for the result..

Hi, i am currently preparing my documents for online application. I hope you can help me with this one, for the settlement plan 2, my cousin will fill-it up and have it notarized in canada correct...... so basically i just need a soft copy so i could upload it in the online application portal...correct?

i am asking since my cousin is currently filling this one up and she was thinking if i should send all my documents to her....

Also, for the bank statement, how many months should I include? some say 3 months.. others say 6 months... what is the correct info?

thank you in advance for your reply..

There is no official requirement that says the funds must be there in the account through out the duration of the immigration process. Though most people tend to keep the funds in the account so as not be denied visa for lack of proof of funds (POF). In you case I would suggest you dont withdraw everything in the account as the Canadian Embassy handling your application may ask for an updated bank statement. There is always a deadline as to when to submit this type of request, say within 30 or 60 days of receipt of the notice. This should give sometime to make up the funds to the level that is required for your family size.

Hope this helps.

Thanks emperor! It helps a lot. I think I still maintain some amount on my account, and at the time the visa office ask for my POF, I will return the required amount so that the bank cert I will forward to them stating the amount of my account is enough for them to approve.
What do you think?

Dear All;

By God Grace my sponsor recieved my AOR Dated 7th September Yesterday.

MPNP asked to me to submit following additional Documents till Dec-1st

1. IMM 5669 ( Background Declaration ) for my Spouse.
2. IMM5406 ( additional Family Information ) for my Spouse.
3. Passport Copy & PR copy of My Sponsor's Spouse.

@Tweety :- IELTS ACADEMIC HURDLE HAS PASSED. Huge relief as they have accepted that.

Can I send all the documents by E-mail or Fax to MPNP Office or I have to Send it through Courier??

Your Suggestions..

Thanks

It is okay that way. My believe is that the intention of POF is that you have funds to help you settle.

Congrat on this milestone. I would suggest you send it by email by scanning all these documents and attach it to the email. This approach will help you save time other than courier.

Kindly quote your file number on each scanned documents and the subject of the email

I applied by mail application under GS. As far as I know about online application, you need to submit all the required documents (scan & upload) and forms together with settlement plan 1. An email will be given to your sponsor requesting to submit Settlement Plan 2. Your sponsor should wait for their advice.

i am asking since my cousin is currently filling this one up and she was thinking if i should send all my documents to her....
It's all up to you, as long as you or your sponsor will submit a complete application.

Also, for the bank statement, how many months should I include? some say 3 months.. others say 6 months... what is the correct info?
That was also the confusion before, 3 mos bank statement for mail application and 6 mos for online application.

thank you in advance for your reply..
Your welcome

Thank you so much for your response.
Another question, for the bank statement....should your balance be $10k for every bank statement (per month) or it can be a total of $10K for the whole 6months? (so sorry.. im such a newbie..)

Again, thank you in advance for your reponse

For me, as long as the amount in the last month (6th month) reaches your required POF which is 10k then that will be fine.

Nothing to worry. We are all here to help each other. Don't hesitate if you need to ask questions.
