sorry for the late reply. The additional documents are mentioned below

1. Birth certificate of my sponsor
2. Employment letter and salary certificate from my current employer
3. marriage certificate of my mother to prove the relation ship between my mother and my uncle(who is the sponsor)

In fact I have received the file number too. It was dated aug 17.

It has been 2 month since I submitted my aplication and still nothing... still waiting...
If they would need any additional document or information, anybody knows how long does it take to request it? I am just wondering if not hearing from them in 2 months means they got everything they need or they havent even looked at it yet...

Please confirm that you received your aor at your home address or you have mentioned the timeline the day your sponsor received your aor .

My sponsor had received the letter by physical mail on 22nd August. I too have received a copy of it at my residence by physical mail. Unfortunately I have no idea on when it was delivered. I was on a vacation for 15 days. I saw the same after I was back on 1st sept.


Since it was not a registered post, it was lying on my post box.

Hi Joems22,

Yes, you fall under the family stream I beleive and you can submit your application online for faster processing. In my case I applied online under FS. our sponsor is my wife's first cousin and I am the principal applicant and after 4 months our sponsor was interviewed and today we got our LOA. Good luck
