Moving from USA as a PR

I got my Canadian PR card last year and planning to make the big move from NJ, USA to Toronto and carry all my belongings (ie goods to follow) in a rental pickup or truck. Anybody lateley went through crossing border by road? Were there any issues that you came across with carrying goods or importing car? And do we need a PCR test for entering Canada if entering using land border?

Hi @nigar18! Did you move to Canada yet, and if so, how did it go? We're about to make the big move in one month.

We will be using a full-service moving company, and we apparently will have to meet the truck at the border. We will be using the ArriveCAN mobile app to enter our contact info, travel details, and potential quarantine plans.

Please note: we traveled to Canada for a short visit a few months ago and we had to take a Covid test 72 hours before arriving at the land border, and then had to take another test again at the border (we were not expecting this, as the Canada site did not mention it at that time). Regardless, it all went fairly smoothly!
