New Born baby details and medical submitted - November 2, 2015
Re-medical Received - October 6, 2016

Ever Since then no reply, I have contacted cic several times, all they are saying is " We are waiting for some internal results before finalizing the application. "

This is making me worried as its been almost one year since I submitted my medicals and RPRF

Did you request GCMS notes?

And when was the last reply from CIC/LVO?

I have done that but no response.

There are improvements beeing made to speed up the process.

But I have been told it is not good to contact CIC unless there is a valid reason like a change in the application, because they feel it is wasting their time to answer emails when the status online states it is in process.

Yes, I got the GCMS Notes, in May some VO note that do not finalize until V.O XYZ says it can be resumed. Last update was in June by V.O. XYZ says " Normal Processing can be Resumed "

Till now no reply again.

same medical status, no requirement for passport yet.

Met a Korean guy in the medical centre. He received the notice of mailing passport copy 2 weeks ago.

If you want to increase your wait time and double it...Sure! Go ahead and contact them. Remember that they have the power to " not find" you file. There are 350,000 people coming next year and it keeps increasing.

I say before you get angry with the Minister of Immigration, plan for your future in Canada. Time is passing faster than you think and once you are there without a plan it will be so hard to settle. This is useful time.

Did you receive the pre-arrival services letter from CIC?

Medical results have been received as of Nov 22. We received our pre-arrival services email on the 18th. We're hoping the results will come soon. My husband went for his medical on Oct 5th.
