We've got an appointment for the Medical Exam for this Friday (lucky us!).
There is a courier charge of 12 pounds "to London". Does this mean they courier the results to the London embassy? If so, does that mean we should already have given them the application pack? I'm thinking, "They're going to get the results and think, 'who the hell is this?'.
So are we to a) include a medical exam in our application, or
b) submit an application and then submit a medical exam to support it separately, or
c) submit the medical examination separately and then later send the application pack.
When you go for the exam, they will give you a sheet with a unique identifier number on it and your photo that serves as documentation that you've gotten the exam. You submit this with your application materials to CPC-M. Meanwhile, the DMP processes your exam results and sends their report (with the same identifying information) to the regional medical office (which is presumably in your case in London) who will then forward them to the visa office that is processing your application. They match your results up with your application by way of the unique identifying tracking number. So they will almost certainly get the medical results in London before they have any other record of you, because your application will be in Mississauga for at least a month. But this is how it is for everyone, and in most cases they are able to locate your medical results. Here's hoping anyway! Good luck!
