I got a ghost update on Aug 1 with the stars all over the previous status updates. I waited and I didn’t see anything (LPP still in progress, everything else complete). Today I called IRCC and the agent told me my application is complete and I will receive the oath invite. I think this may be because of an earlier bug where my ceremony status was in progress before I even did the test, so my tracker isn’t getting updated correctly. Letting everyone know in case you got a ghost update too.

I called (888) 242-2100 and followed the instructions to citizenship application updates. I told the agent that I got a ghost update and I don’t see anything reflected and that my ceremony is in progress so it may be stuck. So she checked for me and informed me that LPP is complete and everything is done.

Oh I remember your case earlier. Did the ceremony in progress still stay that way until now or did they remove that update?

They never updated it, that’s why I was concerned. It still shows in progress.

I wanted to. But I'm in Edmonton and when I checked the website to search for ceremony locations, there is none upcoming in Edmonton. I only saw in Scarborough and I think in one other province. I'll have to accept the online oath to avoid further delays.

That is interesting. I think that is what might be happening to my wife. We got the test invite and now we cannot access the tracker. There have been issues where people have not been able to access their tracker once their Oath Ceremony is in progress. So I am thinking they may have put ours in progress as well even before we took the test.
What did you do - did you just go ahead with taking the test?

What did you do - did you just go ahead with taking the test?

Yes the ceremony was put as in progress right after my BG completed and at the same time as when I got my test scheduled. I did the test already on July 14.
