I think we all are rushed with our brain lol. CIC clearly states timeline under 17 months to complete full process. We are just in 7th month

I know! But I also understand that we just want to get it over with after decade(s) long wait! We have waited so long, we can wait a bit longer Even though it sucks!

Seems like anyone assigned to Sydney is taking awhile. I wonder what makes an app assigned there while others are processed quicker.

This is a good question. In my GCMS notes I see that even though my primary office is Vancouver, everything is being processed by CPC Sydney! I have no idea what the primary office's job even is!

Do you have any complicated travel history? In my case, I did not settle in Canada immediately after landing, I waited 2 years. Maybe that's what triggered it, but since there is no transparency I am not sure.

Yes exactly same. However I am confused because I thought they only look at the past 5 years. Been a PR since late 2009 but I only settled here 2012. I have been renewing my PR since.
My Physical Presence days at 1800+ days from 2018-2023. However you are right, that's a commonality between our apps and may be a reason why it's assigned to Sydney.

All are assigned by AR26915 to RC-8090 (Sydney). What I see is that everything is assigned to RC-8090.

This logic doesn't apply to me. I have been in Canada since 2013. Became a PR in 2021. I barely left the country (maybe 1.5 months in the last 10 years total).
