Actually, they have started inviting January 2020 applicants. Here are three examples below.

I noticed a friend has been invited to the online test as below timeline:
Application Received: Jan 3rd, 2020
AOR: March 12, 2020
Test Invitation: Jan 20, 2021

Someone from January application got a test invite. this is from group on Facebook
Applied January 2020 and AOR in august 2020

Progress....., I got my test invite on Tuesday!

Kindly update my details to the sheet

The latter. Not having to do the test will save you from a lot of delays but again, there's not clear timeline. Good luck.

Not too many application eh? I was expecting since number of visitor visa applications have gone down they should be able to catch up to other categories, somebody needs to give the employees coffee..

The wait time is becoming extreme. Do not see why they cant just waive the test. They got their money already just give us the citizenship

Hi all,
Today (09-Feb-2021), I received online test invitation from CIC email. It is urgent request for my personal reason and I think CIC accepted my urgent request.

I applied on May-14-2020, AOR= Sept-28-2020 and In Process= Dec-08-2020.

my questions are
1) to pass online test 15 out of 20 questions, which website I should check? Some people said check 138 quiz from Richmond hill library, and other said only official discovery. As so many people already passed, Must be some answer for the quiz. Please let me know.

2) after pass the online test, how many days to get oak ceremony?

3) after oak ceremony, how many days to receive Canada passport?

Quick question: me and my child (under 6 years old) applied together for citizenship.

Today, I received my citizenship online test. That mean, after I got citizenship, my child who is under 6 years old will get citizenship automatically? We applied together in the same envelope. Thanks and let me know.

Today (11-Feb-2021), I just finished my citizenship online test and Passed (unofficial result) from the screen and I got 18/20.

Questions
How many days need to wait for
1) interview
2) oak ceremony
3) oak certificate.

4) Will CIC will send me and my child (6 years old) certificate together?

5) As my case is urgent, can I apply express and book appointment, and can pick up from office? How is the procedure to apply? Online or in person by appointment? Do we need to show flight ticket if I want to apply express? Thanks and let me know.

Same situation, but no answer or info yet, I thought it would be faster since no test.
