Correct , I suggest everybody to use FedEx , but they abused me with bad language saying that I am promoting FedEx and blaming Canada post which is Canada government service

I think everyone might have different experience. I sent my file through CanadaPost on May 12 and it was received on May 15. I am in Edmonton, Alberta.

Hi All,
I am applying tomorrow for citizenship, but i have a question regarding the birth certificate for my son, i have the birth certificate translated from a Lebanese translator in Lebanon I have the photocopies for the as requested , but i read yesterday that an affidavit is needed in case the translate in not "certified", and certified means that he should be registered in canada? she a sworn translator in Lebanon,...... let me know your opinion

Your Lebanon trAnslation would suffice provided it was done through a certified registered translator. Hope this answers your question.

Does Citizenship processing time varies province by province ? eg. a person living and applying from Toronto will have a longer wait time than a person living and applying from New Brunswick / Manitoba.

It varies from case to case however it's a federal thing and province doesn't really matter.

What do you mean by ECAS? the online portal? I believe that will happen after one receives an AOR with their application ID
