I called IRCC today and they said they just started processing January applications again. So I think it's gonna be at least 3-month delay added to your applications.

I guess we will know if it's true if January applicants start getting AORs again. I wouldn't put too much faith in IRCC's call center but I'm hopeful.

Hi everyone
I have a question if anyone had similar issue or know anything about it. I applied for citizenship on june 14 through my representative. I was just going through the copy she send me and i found out that she made a spelling mistake in the city/town of birth . What should i do about it ? Do i just wait or is it going to be returned for that spelling mistake? If anyone know anything please reply
Thanks in advance
does anyone know where I can see status of the application? I tried to login with the PR number but it says it cant be found, i am guessing that this is due to the fact that the application isnt in process yet?

You can't.
Just wait for CIC to respond with COPR, which might be probably not before Jan-2021

I think you mean AOR.

You can't see your app details with your PR application number, this is not a PR application. You could look up your Client ID Number or Receipt Number and if they've entered the details of your application in their system them you would see some results with ecas. But if they had, you would likely have received an AOR already, and no AORs have been sent out in the past three months as far as anyone knows.

which number did you call them on? as i had a question regarding the days spent in Canada by my wife. She is an employee of the Canadian office of a consulting firm but had to travel frequently to the US due to work. can these days be counted towards days spent in Canada as the travel was due to work of a Canadian company?
Can you please provide your location, app type and physical presence days? Thanks.
My location WAS Saskatoon, citizenship application with family, 1120

I doubt it very very much unfortunately, the rules for physical presence are very clear and they are very strict. 1095 days in Canada unless you are CAF, Crown Servant, or working for a Canadian Diplomatic Mission (unlikely if you are not a citizen).
