Hi everyone, I have been meaning to provide an update, in April, I finally received an invite for the re-test (given "technical issues" when I took the test last year April). the test was in person and were around 40 other people there who also experienced technical issues the first time they took the test.
Passed and now waiting oath invite.
For tracker - date of invite for retest - 12 April, date of test - 20 April

Over 2 years here too. Going on 7 months since Citizenship test completed and nothing but silence. Frustrated can't begin to describe my feeling over this whole process. COVID-19 cannot be an excuse 2 years later.

Did you order your GSCM notes? I did while I was waiting and I sent in a case inquiry. At least I found out through the notes that there was a technical issue and then the inquiry basically stated, "we're getting to it".

I did earlier in the process and they didn’t really tell me much. Nothing irregular, and an inquiry said basically be patient, backlog, COVID delays, blah blah.
Now my PR card has expired so I guess I need to renew it since I plan on travelling at the end of year. So photos + another fee + more waiting on that. I just wish they would tell me WHEN I can expect this to be over so I can decide whether to renew PR or wait.

Our PR card expired almost 2.5 years ago - didn't bother renewing it, as there was no need to travel or urgency. Keep in mind , if your PR card expired, you are still a Landed Immigrant and that doesn't change.
