1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on May 13, 2019.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on August 2, 2019.

Did anyone got ecas this week ?
Seems applications in Calgary are backlogged !

I haven't seen more May applicants who got Ecas when compared to April and March applicants, most of them received Ecas in 3 months time. I am just wondering why is it a down time for May applicants ? anyone share their insight what do they think ?

Please update at line 29, the process started on Aug 20 and Fringer print request on 30 Aug, completed on the same day.

Our application was returned due to one signature missing and it was meant to be the week of acknowledgement. It was fixed and sent back the following day. My question is do I have to wait another 3 months to get acknowledgement or it might be faster?

Sorry to tell you, but it will be another 2 to 3 months waiting. It also happened to us last May. Good news is surely you'll get the AOR. Just a little bit out of schedule.

I posed my parent application same time received date May 31. I got an email on Aug 30 that they received my file.

Seems that it has been quiet for May applicants.. Not many IP it seems!
By the way someone asked me if I could update the spreadsheet and I didn’t respond, sorry for that!! I am not able to do admin work for the forum due to busy work schedule.. but I am glad if someone else volunteered!!
