My Aor is 5th may 2018. I had no movement in my file since then. Last week I got two emails one for re-medicals and second one is a procedural fairness letter asking to submit a letter with job duties from my previous employment. I'm hoping to hear positive news soon. Fingers crossed

Hi...am no expert but from my knowledge I would work on the PFL first and promptly. From the threads I have read it has to be given more importance and urgency. Thanks!
Just got my PR card today as well (Friday, August 30), Landed in Ottawa on Tuesday, PR card was approved and mailed from NS to Ottawa on Wednesday, seems they really expedited the PR card processing steps!

Do you have any past military involvement, questionable international travel history (To Africa/Middle East/Certain Asian and South American Country) or past visa rejection or any conviction? You or anyone in your family? I just want to figure out if there are certain trigger for these checks or they are just random!

I have not involvement with military anywhere. I do work part-time as a security guard currently though.
I have traveled to Singapore-Malaysia-Thailand. But that was just a 15 day tour with my family with a tourism company. No passport/visa rejections ever.
I didn't receive any request for re-med. It still shows `You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.`. I just sent a webform for changing marriage status. No thing updated yet...

My fiancée is at 14 months nearly. No update. Got an email today basically saying the same thing they have always said. Further verification required and we will contact you. Getting to a point where we just want to give up.
