Don't know why this is happening. I was definitely expecting IP2 now.

I am stuck in IP2 for over a month now, got it after MEP and no change since then...

My BG status just changed from IP1 -> IP2 !! Didn't notice a NA in between..

My medical passed on 25 of May but background check is still on " your application is in progress. we will send you a message when we will start your back ground check?
does this mean IP1? and IP2 - is when BG check started?

There is nothing changed after medical pass, still showing we will send you a message when start the background check...

Meds not required 1 Jun
You passed med exam 3 Jun
Since than I see: "We are reviewing the additional documents you provided."
Background check: "we are processing your background check"

IP1 is checks prior initiating Background checks (could be completeness of application) IP2 is Backgrnd check, you shud see “We are processing your Background checks” message next to BG category.

IP1 is about your PCC n criminality check
IP2 is about eligibility check (education, work experience in line with NOC etc)
