I signed up for the forum a while back hoping to be a regular contributor, but life happened.
Anyway, I did get a letter to the oath ceremony on June 29th. Funny enough, things only started moving for me when I called CIC to let them know I would be away May/June. That was back in April. Not long after that phone call, I got the test invite for April 29th (only had 13 days to revisit the citizenship guide! which seems like a lot, but that's my busiest time of the year at work). Everything went okay, though. I took my time off, got back last week and there was the oath letter, in the mail.
still no letter.. do not know what to think because there are apparently 5 ceremonies in Saskatoon and we applied in April 2014... i know people who applied in jan 2014 are invited... are they also inviting people from regina for the oath in Saskatoon...
redstone has applied in jan i believe... there is still chances i think... UNLESS they are inviting people from regina... because in every test there sits about 35 people, and if they have 4 tests in a month from jan - april, they can still accomodate people for oath (5 oaths - each oath has about 130 people)... assuming they are inviting people from jan 2014.
i have sent an email inquiry.. yesterday...
try calling them tomorrow again - sinpguy
Hi, my ecas has been updated to "In Process" as of Jun 19, 2015.
My status is as following:
We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 3, 2014.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 18, 2015.
We started processing your application on June 19, 2015.
Took forever to change to "in process". I wish our local CIC offices work as fast as other provinces.
May and June testers probably did not get oath invite for upcoming oath ceremonies at the end of June and July 1st. Don't they have to give you something like 2 weeks notice?

Neither were April applicants invited. So far I have only seen jan 2014 applicants.
