I submitted my application on Mar 21, 2024, I received the AOR after a couple of days and then nothing!
I see most of the people who submitted in March have got some movement. Should I call just to make sure that everything is in place? Or are those normal timelines

I was coming here to ask the same question, even some are fully completed with the process and getting their oath ceremony. I was thinking of calling, but I don't know if its too early yet to do anything

you can call but more than likely they will say your app is within processing time and to just wait.....

I see a lot of March applicants have received at least some update. So there is no harm in following up with them.

Received fingerprint request today (tracker shows June 25). Will they send me an email in the following days? Is it better to go to RCMP, local police station or accredited companies? Thank you.

If you are able to do it directly at a RCMP office, it is probably better since you will get some kind of receipt/acknowledgement from RCMP which can be used later to follow up. I did it with an accredited agency and it took 4 weeks for IRCC to mark it as completed.

We have received interview email for me and my husband test, and background verification completed and fingerprints also received a day before background verification done. Now they called us for in-person interview at Scarborough office. What kind questions they can ask about our documentation or canadian cultures, history like test. Kindly help.

From what i heard, the interview is not about the test, and more about yourself and your experience.

May I ask how long did it take for you to receive the fingerprint email? My tracker shows request for fingerprint, but there is no email yet. Thank you.

When you took the test, did you inform IRCC that you were taking it from abroad ? It was a condition when I did my own test in 2022. But lately that condition has been removed from the test invite.

Also keep us posted on how the interview goes.

Interview took less than 2 minutes. The officer looked at my passport and PR card. He then told me my application would be approvd and I'd receive an oath invite in the coming weeks. I asked why I was called for the interview and he said it's because I took the test abroad.

Hello. I have the same AOR as you. My file is the Vancouver office. I received a request for FP which I did last week. I am also in the 55 and over group, so no test. Yay! You received no check for FP. That's good. Almost there...keep going...

May I ask how long did it take for you to receive the FP letter? Thank you. My tracker updated for FP request on June 25 and it showed up on June 27, but I have not received the email yet.
