Hi,
I have my oath on Oct 17 at 8:15 and was selected for e-certificate. I have to travel end of Oct and was wondering when would be a good time to schedule a passport appointment. Have any of you guys received e-cert on the same day before noon?

I had my oath yesterday and my e-cert was available this afternoon (sometime after 2pm Mountain Time).

You don't need to book an appointment for passport. You can walk in on a weekday and should be done in a couple of hours at most. Just make sure it's not a Friday and go early in the morning.

Also, if you have proof of travel, you can request for an urgent passport (one business day turnaround time) with a higher fee.

I just update here and not on my sig. i am now just waiting for my e-cert.

Which time/office? I had 11:30am CDT at Manitoba office. I emailed them my digitally signed oath form right away.

I got the e-cert instructions email at 12:45pm Mountain Time and it downloaded successfully a couple of hours later (I was trying every hour pretty much).

Which office are you? Be informed that mississauga office are the slowest to issue an e-certificate

I got the e-cert instructions a few days back but the certificate is still not available.

UPDATE

Just got the eCertificates for the whole family (2 Adults 1 Kid). Oath was on October 4th, 2023, whole timeline in signature.

Now, need to apply for Passports.

Took my citizenship Oath on Oct 4th.

Got email instructions on how to download Citizenship Certificate morning of October 5th.

Followed the instructions at 12:15 am October 6th and was able to download the certificate less than 2 business days after the ceremony.

My Tracker now says Citizenship application status: closed

I sent my signed oath form immediately after my oath on Oct 3rd to Niagara processing centre and it is more than 2 business days now but certificate is not still available to download. I have registered on the portal as well to download the certificate. and I have responded to the same email address that was sent for the oath ceremony.

My Oath Office is Niagara too. I just emailed them the Signed Oath Form and that is it.

I would recommend to wait until the 5th business day and if it still doesn't come then call IRCC to check on it.

I got the e-certificate finally. Thanks to everyone for responding to the queries.
