Hi Everyone, I applied for my citizenship in March and had completed the test in June. I received an email from IRCC regarding fingerprints on June 7 and I gave fingerprints on June 8 and later confirmed with RCMP that they were sent to IRCC on June 14. However, a couple of days ago I received final notice from IRCC regarding sending my fingerprints, although it has been almost two months since they were sent to IRCC. I am currently not in Canada due to personal reasons and I am very stressed as to how to approach this situation. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

I called IRCC and they told me that our application is processing in Niagara. They are so slow. I don't know what they are doing.

I had my test completed on 21 July, but it hasn't been filled in yet.

So I’ve been sitting here frustrated by the lack of progress on my application and just waiting for any news and finally received my GCMS notes.

I found a section that reads:
Created Date: 2023/05/29
Updated Date: 2023/05/29
UCI #: XXXXXXXX
Family Name: XXXX
Given Name: XXXX
Type: CIT RCMP Screening
Status: Fingerprints Required

My question is this - they’ve never reached out asking for fingerprints and my application portal doesn’t show it either - where do I go from here? I don’t want to delay my application any further.

I've had no update since May 8th- BG completed (AOR March 22nd), how long did it take for GCMS response to arrive?, Is there any indication of processing office in the notes?, I suggest reaching out to the processing office directly somehow

March 1st online applicant. I took the test on May 15th and ever since, nothing has been updated and everything is still in processing. Is anyone else facing the same thing? Toronto office. It will be 3 months soon.

Same here, I'm not really surprised. My office is Scarborough and from the looks of it it takes them anywhere from 3 to 4 months after test to go to LPP. So I'm going to wait until the end of the month to either giving them a call or send a webform. Hopefully, there will be good news prior to that.

Hi I am in the same situation as you. Can you share with me what you have done about it? For me I called IRCC and they told me to reply to the email.
