There's no specific number of days it takes for test update. I know people that took their test on the 4th and are still waiting for it to be completed. Check the excel sheet tracker to have an idea.
As for BG, it's very normal. People have test completed and BG in progress. It's all a waiting game.

Update today! FINALLY!

Says I've been scheduled to take the citizenship test between July 21st and August 10th. Haven't received the email yet!

Took me from May 19 to July 1! I submitted a webform asking about it. Didn't receive a response, however, I did receive my test invite soon after.

How long did take from BG completed to test invite? In my case it’s been more than a month since BG is completed and no word about the test.

It took 2 months in my case. Most likely Scarborough office.

Also don't know if it's related, but i sent a webform like a week and a half ago asking what's the holdup with the test invite. No response back, but maybe it nudged my application.
