Hello a friend sent an application for there 3 minors is it normal for ircc to ask them to send them there original pr card for the 3 minors

it’s NOT normal, the citizenship application specifically says a copy of the PR card is not a suitable proof of ID to use. Also, it’s very strange that the want you to send in the original PR card, which is not required.

Tell your friend to double check the email address that requested this info, as it could be fake. Also call IRCC directly to verify if they need the original PR cards for the application. Hope this helps.

The address is the same as were they sent the application, and in ecas it says descion made and on the citizenship tracker it says waiting for requesting documents, and only prohibitions is complete, it is for 3 minors.

Paper. If I remember correctly there is age limit for online applications and we had no choice but to submit a paper application.

I completed the citizenship test a couple of days ago. How long does it take the tracker to get updated?
