Only officer can answer you..1-888-242-2100 on this number..it also called them..I am from India..but my friend who lives in Canada call office and connect me to officer via conference call..because you can call this number within Canada
There is no point calling them when the response you will get is generic. They don't provide application specific details, so, no need to call the office.

I thought AORs are sent ONLY by Sydney, NS office? That is where we mail all citizenship apications. Once AOR received then its moved to local office. Is this incorrect?
Yes I did. If you haven't received AOR, they won't help you. They won't tell you if application has been returned either. They keep saying to wait and if returned, will get the package back in my mailing address. I changed my address, even then they refuse to help as they are saying I should keep an eye on my old and new address since they can send back the application on either one even if I request to update the address in my file through webform.
My application was received on March 6 in Sydney, still no AOR and they have moved to March. This wait is killing me, Sydney office is as slow as any other office in Ontario. Why proceed to April is you have backlog from previous months, makes no sense whatsoever.
Exact question I wonder. The working environment must be a nightmare jumping around all over the place. I don't understand why they can't sequence their work! If they can build AI's to clean up dog poop, this is an important government function and they can improve it if they want as well!

Well that sucks! So there is no way knowing if the application is sent back. GREAT! What we suppose to do now!!!! Send them again? What if they already have our old file?

I honestly don't know. I am planning to wait until November and if still nothing, then resending my application regardless. I don't see any other way. The only conclusion after that is either the application was lost or they returned it back but I didn't receive it.
Hello all, does anyone know if you can change your address using the web form before receiving AOR? My partner and I will be moving out of the country for work in a few weeks and I've not received AOR yet (application was received March 5) - also worried about the nightmarish possibility of the application being returned and not being able to access my mailbox.
I did update my address via webform before I got AOR however after getting AOR I discovered it was still my old address that was on file. After AOR I had to update my address again and it's now my current address on file. I was worried my application would have been returned(before AOR) and if it was returned I would not have been surprised if it was sent to the old address because it seems maybe they dont really check the updated address via webform, because if they did they would have known I had changed my address before AOR and thay would have updated it with the new address when they sent the AOR to me
