They sent an email to my husband to do the re-test on October 11. Fingers crossed he passes this time! He has been studying since he failed the first one on September 6.
I think it’s a little faster in Ottawa? Because my sister in law applied the same time as my husband she’s in Quebec and she hasn’t got the test date yet.
Hi Everyone,
Does it really take this long to now to apply for citizenship. My husband information is as follows:
We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on March 26, 2018.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on April 11, 2018.
We started processing your application on June 16, 2018
We did tried to call to make a follow up, they responded that the application is forwarded to local office in Mississauga. Until to this day nothing yet is receive.
