Hi please add my timelines from Milton ON.

Application sent: March 06, 2018
Application received: March 12, 2018
AOR: March 24, 2018
Started Processing: June 06, 2018
Test Invite: October 01, 2018
Test Date: October 24, 2018 . (passed at Hamilton ON office)


Just took the test today and passed 20/20 so decision is still not made however the officer said waiting time is around 3-4 months for Oath Ceremony. From the sound of it Hamilton is not the fastest.

Do Milton applicants get processed in Hamilton? I thought Milton processing centre was in Mississauga. How is Hamilton processing centre, is it slow?

Any oath letters to Calgary applicants ?? I am still waiting my DM was on 12th of October. This is never ending processssssssss

Nothing yet Jaski.Hopefully soon. I'm almost sure I will get my PR card renewed before I get that oath letter. I also noticed that the frequency of the oath ceremonies is less now. Over the last 2 months it was about 9 ceremonies per week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays). Think it's now about 3 per week on Fridays it seems.

I am not sure how do they pick the processing centres but in my case they started processing on June 6th and I got the Test date Oct 24th so not that bad. But like I said officer said it don't expect to be the invited for Oath for next 3-4 months. Let's see.

So we were probably interviewed by the same officer with the pink sweater and the glasses. she said the same waiting time

Yep - that was her. BTW my status still shows IP like yours.

Hello,

I submitted our Citizenship application for family on March 23rd and Sydney received our application (via tracking number) on March 26th but our application package was returned in September for a missing document for my son. I immediately included the said document and i sent back the application package a day it was returned. Now still waiting, no application number or what so ever. Any applicants here who have same case as ours?

I will appreciate any feedbacks.

Hi All,
Need some info on the Test center, Please suggest or share your experience.
Can we take children's to the test center... at the time of tests?
Do they have a play area or anything to make them busy in Scarborough test location. ?

I was looking for how often are the oath ceremonies held in Calgary... on the government web site I found this:

So, looks like 1-2 ore 3 / day but not every day... and we are considering an amount of about maximum 50 people each time... the schedule is for 2 weeks ahead only...

Looks like it's all booked for the oath in calgary by January 4th, 2019... I hope they will start sending invitations... if I don't get anything in the next 2 weeks, I'm gonna make an web inquiry... just hope it's not be the case like for Montreal office December 2017, when a whole cohort didn't get the emails with the invitations because of a system error...
