Yesterday, I got a message in my cic account. They are asking proof of funds. So my parent gave me this money to help me. I hope there are no issues with this.
They say that they will make decision based on the explanation I will provide.
Hope everything goes well.

Hope you have submitted relevant document to show the gift deed along with proof of funds. (Explaining that the funds given to you by your parents is not liability) if not get a notary of the gift deed.

Its been 131 days now still same thing. I am worried now.

Review of eligibility -- We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results -- You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents -- We do not need additional documents.
Interview -- You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics -- We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check -- We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision -- Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Any one having same situation.

I just received two ghost updates today and soon I called IRCC and they said my file is passed awaiting ppr email.

can you please share the number of IRCC using which you have contacted them. Thanks in advance.

I suggest you apply for gcms notes. The notes take 30 days and usually a case officer has to review them before they are release which thus have at times pushed applications forward. You can use www.getgcms.com

If you still insist on calling them use this number

GCMS notes will not move your file. its just a myth.

My profile got updated on 2 Aug18 to "we are processing your background check" and on 4 Aug it showed profile updated again but there was no change when I saw the complete application status, I mean it still say we are processing your background check. Is this what called ghost update? At what stage I'm exactly in, IP1 or IP2...? Please through some light on......

yes its a ghost update. you might get your PPR soon.
