Hi Guys,

I have applied for PR under family class sponsorship.

I couriered my documents to Toronto CIC and it was received on 25th Jan 2018 by CIC.

I received an email for doing my medicals and PCC on 21st March 2018.

I tried to link to my online account but was somehow unable to view the upload button hence couriered the medical and PCC docs on 29th March 2018.

My husband received a letter(hard copy) on 1st May 2018 stating that my application has been sent to New Delhi for further processing.

Kindly help me to understand by when I can expect my passport submit request as I am unable to view any update in my online account.

Does it ever take more than 6 months to get PPR. Since I have been in ip1 from last 135 days and only a few days are left so was getting anxious. I mean in 40 days all the checks will be completed ? Or it can take more than 6 months too

Mar 21 2018 : MEP/ BACKGROUND CHECK NOT YET STARTED/ ELIGIBILITY REVIEW
Apr 23 2018 : RPRF REQUEST
Apr 24 2018 : Paid RPRF
Jul 10 2018 : Called CIC and was told eligibility review is going on and background check has not been started yet.
Jul 13 2018: BACKGROUND CHECK IN PROGRESS
Jul 18 2018 : Ghost update & PPR MAIL

one week back my eligibility review was also in process. Yesterday they informed me that its recommended pass. Your review is not yet complete and so they have confirmed you about eligibility review in process. I have ordered GCMS on 9th July.
Lets hope for the best
