omg .... its friday and the site is not updated yet wtf .....seriously is it not bad enough that we have to stew for 90 + days waiting to see if we are approved or not now the little light that i had in this process checking in every week to see where they are at and how much longer till they get to me is also taken away .....seriously CIC ...... WTF......

The delay is probably from the Buffalo office closing and all our applications being sent to pilot offices. They said that 75 employees were going to be affected from the Buffalo office closure, so that just means they have 75 less people to work on our applications. They probably aren't going to update anything until the dust settles from this closure. I was wondering what was going on. Usually there's some news each week about people receiving approvals and whatnot, but it's been radio silent for the most part these last 2 weeks. Who knows what other fun Harper has in store for us taxpayers. I used to be a supporter of the Conservative party, but not anymore. I'm wondering if we're looking at 100+ days until any of us hear anything. When I applied in March, the wait time was 55 days.

True. I keep hearing either Ottawa or NYC. I checked off Detroit on my list because that's the closest place we can get to. We live near Ottawa but further from NYC than Detroit driving wise. Sigh. I wish that article was a little more detailed about what was going to happen to people who are applying etc. And it says about electronically applying? What? I had no idea.
