Sponsorship apps have nothing to do with buffalo though.

Technically it does...they were talking about doing everything in canada hence why OTTAWA pilot program...which means that if they transfer a lot of them there we can see a slow down as with the budget cuts they will not hire new employees just take some off of the first step!

When I added March 2012 to my signature it removed a few letters and numbers so sorry about that! it works now!

So my app has been at CIC for 89 days now, technically, if I go by the website, I should be getting approval tomorrow?????? or not approval but the AOR???????? hmmmmm we shall see, I have learned not to get my hopes up too high. Come CIC I wanna start this spreadsheet off LOL

Well if they are approving FEB 24th in another thread maybe we will get lucky this week but i am hoping by beginning of next week i get mine I need to ask for extension for my husband... I am also hoping that the Buffalo office doesn't affect us in getting our approvals for step 2!

Yes for some reason they are stuck on early Feb but processing late Feb. They will start March soon and some Feb applicants will still be waiting. I think the same thing happened with Jan/Feb.

That'd be really nice! I am wondering where those of us who are going to Buffalo(or WERE going to) where they will go to now. Some said NYC, but no idea why? Other than it'll cover those who are outside of Canada. It's all too confusing! ???

Hmmm I used a little blue ink. Oh well!

We were also denied for a permanent resident visa. The immigration officer suggested we withdraw our application actually so it was not officially denied. That really threw all our plans off. Our stuff is moving in April and we will be living with the barebones waiting for his PR. We are in California right now. And things are such a mess and taking so long! I just want to get sponsorship approval already! I am a February applicant actually but like checking out the other month threads. Sorry you got denied but hopefully he will be with you soon.

Is it because of the blue ink you used why you're denied?

Oh my. That's an old quote and I should have said we were denied a visitors visa not a permanent resident visa!! Big typo.

And we got sponsorship approval with blue ink.

please can you add me to the spreadsheet ,,, App 12th March ... Recieved 14th March, .. going to Hudson Bay Sask.

Something i'm not sure of ... when it says 90 day or so ... is that meaning thats how long it is taking to approve sponsor? m i right in thinking then that untill the sponsor gets approved nothing else is done? If someone could tell me a little of how the process works that would be great.
