Welcome onboard canada100...on avg it takes 3-6 wks to get med line but it can vary according on case to case bacis and can take upto 3 mnth to receive any further correspondence...I suggest be patient and if u dont hear back from LVO after 3 mnths send them CSE...but I hope u will receive ur med line and PPR soon.

Hi luckymystery, ammartahir, huzefa, sterile and other friends,

First of all, thank you and congrats on starting this thread. I have sent my medicals to London VO as well and they received it on 30th Jan 2012. Since then my ecase has been showing 'in process' till now. How long did it take in your case to change the ecase from in process to med received/decision made? As well, if you could inform from the day they received your medicals, how long it took for you to get the PPR. I thought the medicals are issued byu the viso office only after completing all background checks, but lately I heard from one of my friends that the London visa office sometimes issues MR before the background checks are complete. I am just wondering if this could be the reason that my ecase is still in processs. Your valuable feedback would be really helpful. All the best for your visas as well.

thank you so much luckymystery and congratulations to you as well.actually i got PPR (orignal) and some other forms as well.also i am asked to provide fresh photos.and frankly speaking first time i came across such type of informtion.i have some friends who had gotten their visa previous year but they never discussed this issue. lucky man you are lucky soon you will through step 2 as well. my prayers and wishes all are with you.GOd bless you.you are my forum mate of rainy days.wish you all the best

My pleasure. And this two step process is for those who are living in Pakistan as our Processing visa is London and we can't send our Passports beyond the country border. That's why we get visa in two step process and yeah you are right i'll be through step-2 sooner. Thanks for the wishes.

no update on ecas, may be they get tthis week as Dr told me that he will posting them in 2 week time,
On Monday I have posted all other docs like PCC and updated form including travel history.
So now just waiting for RPRF and PPR request.

just for update, i got one friend (Goldy) who have applied in MI 3 (Aug 2011) and he got his Updated docs & RPRF in Jan, and on Friday he received his Medical request too (from London).

Many thanks 9j, gypsey, imran for ur wishes ans I hope u guys received good news soon a well. I am MI2 applicant

I had one query in the letter they sent it was mentioned that the PP should have atlest 2 empty pages, so my query is do they have to be 2 continous empty pages or they can be 2 empty pages anywhere on the pp.

I ask becoz my wifes pp pretty full but she has 5 empty pages but not continous. Will this be a problem for visa stampling. Plz share.
