I got Medical/RPRF request letter dated 20.08.10 and sent RPRF om 05.09.10 and Medicals on 15.09.10. When I inquired about the status of my application last week, I got a one sentence email.... "we confirm receipt of RPRF payment". No info about Medicals!!!

I think you should get the Tracking # of the Courier package sent by your DMP. Track it and when you see that it has been delivered on/received by, you will feel assured.

i am not sure about this quota system ... can you explain it ...if you are talking about rules changed after 26 , i don't know these will affect us as well or not...could u please further explain it...
I also doubt whether there is a quota system. The number of visa issued till now by London is very low compared to New Delhi. Which means there must be more visas available in London. ND is sending PPR request even now as well.
But whats the reason for sending mails by London says "we expect to send PPR by Dec-Jan only"??

I am not sure either but , i read it in another topic in this forum .... it nothing to do with new or old rules but yah it used to be always certain quota for each VO. i hope its not a case with london....
Also i asssume as you have send medical in sep exactly two months after me and i haven't got PPR yet and according to timeline it may be case that your turn will be in jan first week abd we cant say exactly whats going on but can assume this though...
i have sent my medical on july 1st 2010 but no reply yet. i m just waiting 4 months to finish then i will give them reminder. in a letter they wrote please allow us 4 months to process ur documents. so lets see wht happen after 4 month. rest is god wish...
