Hello All,

Just to let you know... Checked the ecas status on Tuesday and we have moved into "In Process", hooray!!!

We can now see light at the end of the tunnel. However, we now feel very nervous, with thoughts of the application failing. Now the long wait hoping for our medical request.

Has anybody else moved into "In Process" today?

hello all... well i applied fist 0n 24th july 2009... and my application from the cic web site on the last line says my application was recieved and they started processing in end of may. 2010. i still didn't receive any req for med till today... is this normal? or i should have got it long ago?

I would suggest you should ask for CAIPS notes. If your case is taken up for processing in May 2010 you should have received med request long back. By asking for CAIPS notes you will get to know where do you stand and you will also come to know about your BFDs.

it is 100% sure they send by regular mail because it is preprinted form with pasted photos of each applicant.... i send them an email and they respond wait till you receive our sent letter and again i asked them to send this letter through email (as i become exited what it contains) they reply back it can't be sent through email ....when i received the letter it was medical request form for my whole family...

i think u r talking about medical , yes it came by regular mail , a form with all family photo pasted on it .
but i was talking about PPR ( Passport request ) , because I read that one applicant in london office received his PPR by e-mail

I had applied unsuccessfully through a consultant in 2006 I was evaluated to a score of 65 points and got a reply from CHC london in August 08 that my application was refused. At that time I had scored 14/16 in my IELTS exam. I re-took the exam this year and now have scored 16/16 which should take my total to 67 points.

I recieved my 1st AOR from Nova Scotia on the 1st of May 2010 and my 2nd AOR from London on the 7th of July 2010. My Ecas shows in-process from the 15th of July 2010. I haven't heard anything from CHC since that time although my contact address was updated in Ecas in the last week of August. Ecas was previously reflecting my old consultant's address.

Any ideas on how long it would take for me recieve my medical request ? Is there a possibility of some issue with my application which is delaying my medical request ? From other posts in this forum, I understand that you typically get requests for medical within 2 months of your ecas changing to in-process.

I will be gratefule for any advice from Qorax and other experienced members of this forum.

Actually in a month , u should receive either medical request, or simple additional documents request.
Please send a inquiry email to your VISA office, regarding the position of your application.

welcome to the forum, but I am bit confused if you recived 2nd AOR on 7th july 2010 how come your e-case says inprocess 15th july 2010.
till know they have not started people who submitted their application in April.
anyways if it's true I am happy for you and congradulation. Most people get medical after one month from in-process.
