if the employer has already obtained an unnamed lmo, inserting the name of chosen employee should only take 5 days according to the hrdc website. but mine took 2 weeks to attach my name on the lmo.
Hi
I'm not sure if the LMO is determined by location or NOC code but my employer is in Vancouver and its NOC 7411. Where was your LMO application done ?
@Pippin, That's just me guessing. My employer didn't say anything about why his LMO was turned down. But the wage was only 25 cents above the minimum wage in that province so I'm guessing that this is why it got turned down.

I am not sure also what determines the processing time of LMO. I think its the location and the load of applications on that location. Mine was submitted in Saskatchewan.
My Case is almost same, but it is taking too long. Here are some details:
ALMO applied: 9th May'13
Query OR Request to file LMO: 13th Jun'13
Province: ON
Case Status: Still Pending...
There is the same response that it is still under process. Anyone, has similar situation?
LMO applied: 29 July 13
LMO approved: 11 Oct 13.
Applied in Ontario.
My suggestion, given current processing times, forget about receiving your outcome for atleast 11 to 12 weeks. Expectation of LMO approval earlier than this timeline only led to disappointment for me.
We're still waiting for an answer, week 16 for us, submitted in Calgary :'( the waiting is hard. Wish they gave out a final date to expect an answer so at least you knew the last day you would find out in the worst case scenario
My employer had conversation with Service Canada today and they mentioned "File has been assigned to Officer". Service Canada did not give any information on further details and any status on timeline.
