Hi my employer has LMO, i was told that they submitted an application on my name on 2 August (NOC 7411 Long haul driver in Vancouver), still no answer. I'm still waiting patiently.
Does anyone knows the current procedure in submission of for Visa? Cause ive heard that VAC no longer pick up visa application but rather prefer online visa application. Thanks in advance..

Still waiting on my LMO. It's week 11 and I'm still waiting. I'll let you know when I get it. According to many other LMO seekers, I estimate that they're now processing applications from late May to early June. Mine was from mid June so I should have it within the next 2 weeks.
Looks like there is no firm timeline for LMO as this moment. I know few who are waiting since april / May 1st week . This may not be true for all cases but the situation does not look good.
@karanj, I just called Service Canada again and they said that the average is now 8 weeks. It was only 7 weeks when I called around 3 weeks ago, so it's beginning to take much longer now.
But "average" means that some people are getting their LMOs in less than 8 weeks and some take more time. Those taking longer seem to be ones that are more complex. I'm just working at a freaking restaurant, it's not rocket science. Everyone knows that no Canadian wants to work a low-paying restaurant job, so how tough could it be to get an LMO. How much longer could this LMO possibly take after 10 weeks?

stopDA, nobody can give you an answer. It varies from case to case, also depending about the officer who received the application. My friend is waiting for a normal assessment since end of April, NOC A or B position, Ontario, and that timeline is really ridiculous.
I've been waiting for 7 weeks now, what they have to do is to put my information on the Unnamed LMO. That takes 10 minutes. The employer contacted them, and they said it's in process. Food Counter Attendant position for Alberta.
