LMIA Question for Job Offer

Hi everyone. I am currently working in Canada on a closed work permit. It was LMIA exempt work permit. My employer is ok to give a job offer for one year stating the same in company letter head. Do I still need to have LMIA to support my job offer in order for me to claim 50 points?

That’s a bummer I have a good score and thought would try for Federal even before I get the points for one year experience.

If you want to get the 50 points sooner, you can see if your employer is willing to go through the LMIA process.
