Hello There - My Employer after finishing the advertising period and all the required job posting activities finally gave the Lawyers all paperwork last Monday (Aug-13) and the Lawyers submitted the LMIA for High Wage to ESDC on Aug 14th. The job is required to start this month and it is a managerial position in a billion-dollar construction project/ company in Toronto, Ontario. The NOC is Type 0 I believe and I believe that Hourly wage if calculated from Annual Salary comes to ~$72 an hour. I live and Work in the United States under H1B Visa.
Would you guys be kind enough to let me know in cases like this what is the approximate time taken by ESDC to process the LMIA's? I have been able to find answers over the internet, but I haven't seen any for NOC type 0. I would really appreciate your responses because that can help plan my stay here in the United States and my move to Canda.
I promise if I have an update; I will post it here.
Thank you in advance for your advice & participation

Thanks for your prompt response Scylla. I read this article this morning and was hoping that it would be done soon because it kind of is the same scenario. However, appreciate you taking time. A few weeks ago I sent you a private message on a similar topic, based on your convenience, if you would reply, that would be of great help.

Yeah - that's old news around here. Don't hang your hat on that.
We've found that a majority of the people here who qualify for the 10 day processing are actually waiting 2-4 months. You might get lucky. But don't assume yours will be done in 10 days. Might be a lot longer.
If you have further questions, please post them to the forum rather than messaging me in person. That way others can benefit from the response and others with knowledge can also jump in and add their experiences / correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm not an immigration consultant or lawyer and try to avoid answering private messages.

Scylla et all - I got an email from my potential employer this morning asking me to send a copy of my Passport Biodata Page (they said that IRCC requested for it). Do you happen to know why IRCC would ask for the passport page when the LMIA application goes to ESDC for evaluation?
